Healthcare Career Scholarship Guide for 2024

High-quality education comes at a price. It’s common for students to take large amounts of debt to fulfill their higher education dreams, and it can take decades to pay off student loans.

Fortunately for students in health-related careers, ample opportunities are available to mitigate these financial burdens.

Tuition rates generally go up to tens of thousands of dollars, but with the help of scholarships, students can make it within their reach, especially for those who already face a huge amount of debt from their undergraduate education or substantial existing economic responsibilities.

Most scholarships require students to submit their academic and professional records, a current resume, an essay, and letters of recommendation.

This piece profiles top scholarships in healthcare, divided into administration, physical health, mental health, and lab and biomedical categories. Please note that some scholarships mentioned below do not have their deadlines listed as of now. However, deadlines are usually the same day or the same month as the year before and have been provided as estimates.
